ODEP, along with the Department of Education and the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence and Economic Opportunity for Native Americans and Strengthening Tribal Colleges and Universities, is hosting a virtual four-part dialogue series that addresses multiple topics that impact employment for American Indians and Alaska Natives. Join us on Tuesday, August 29 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM ET for the final dialogue “Indigenizing Health Career Pathways Across Generations: A Closer Look at Instruction and Practices in American Indian and Alaska Native Education.” The dialogue will offer perspectives from experts from the American Indian and Alaska Native community who have participated in, advocated for and benefited from a process of indigenizing curricula, education program design and delivery for individuals with and without disabilities from this community.
