2023 Pennsylvania Autism Training Conference: PATC Ignite 2023

ODP’s Pennsylvania Autism Training Conference (PATC) will be taking the virtual stage once again in November 7 through 9, 2023. The conference will be conducted virtually on a three-day schedule that will include presentations and panels from subject matter experts, providers, self-advocates, and families. Personal narratives will be interspersed throughout the conference in an effort to highlight the perspective of the individual which should remain at the core of what we do.

This conference will provide professionals working directly with children and/or adults with autism, with tools, strategies, and resources to help provide the most effective support.

This year’s theme is PATC: Ignite. Join the virtual conference this fall to learn from individuals with lived experience, researchers, providers, and more!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: 

Professionals looking to increase their knowledge of and/or ability to support individuals with autism across the spectrum and the lifespan. We welcome all professionals supporting individuals with autism in Pennsylvania, in all systems. Please join us!

CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE:

Training certificates will be offered after the completion of the conference. PATC 2023 session certificates can be used to meet the annual training requirements in the 6100 Regulations.

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs)

This year, PATC will be offering continuing education units (CEUs) for attendance. Submission of session evaluation forms after the conference will be required to receive credit. More information on CEU requirements will follow.

• The Conference has been approved for 14.0 Act 48 and Act 58 Credits.
• National Association of Social Workers (NASW)-PA Chapter is a co-sponsor of this workshop. 14.25 CEs will be awarded for completion of this course. NASW has been designated as a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education for social workers (Section 47.36), Marriage and Family Therapist (Section 48.36) and Professional Counselors (Section 49.36) by the PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
• The Conference has been approved for PA Registry for Interpreters of the Deaf (PARID) continuing education credits.
• The session held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM entitled If We Can Do It, So Can You: Teaching Self-Care Using Behavioral Skills Training Presented by Jordan Hollander, M.Ed., BCBA and Amy Alford, M.Ed., BCBA is eligible for Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) continuing education credit. 
• PATC 2023 session certificates can be used to meet the annual training requirements in the 6100 Regulations.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Full admission is $10.00 for professionals and allows access to all conference sessions over all three days. Admission is cost-free for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
