Technology is creating new possibilities for both the present and the future. Is it possible to create a future in which people leveraging services have more control and self-direction over their lives—while at the same time improving the pay and working conditions of DSPs who provide their supports?
In this session, GoodLife will present and virtually tour new ecosystems of care leveraged by its iLink Technologies. These new ecosystems of care deliver support on the terms of persons served in ways that significantly improve their quality-of-life outcomes, and move toward the vision of the final settings rule, while also affordably enhancing the quality of life and capacity of the DSP workforce. By the end of this session, attendees will be able to assess the value of tech-leveraged service models and describe their benefits.
Recognizing the importance of keeping human care and self-direction at the core of next-generation services approaches, together we’ll consider the advantages of technologies infused into professional supports, quality assurance, in-home training, and staff support to create the next generation of care.
