The PA Department of Health (PA DOH), Bureau of Family Health is excited to announce a funding opportunity for community-based, non-profit organizations! From July 31 through September 14, 2023, PA DOH will be soliciting applications for the Bullying Prevention and Safe Relationships (BPSR) Program.
The BPSR Program will promote safe and healthy relationship development and the reduction of bullying among 12 through 21-year-old children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN). The BPSR Program will support positive social-emotional outcomes through prevention and education, including improved ability to manage emotions and peer relationships. CYSHCN experience higher rates of abuse and bullying than non-CYSHCN, and this new program aims to address that disparity.
