SEED Promotes Disability-Inclusive Policymaking in Puerto Rico

Last month, Assistant Secretary Taryn Williams joined the State Exchange on Employment & Disability (SEED) in San Juan to meet with Puerto Rico Secretary of Labor Gabriel Maldonado-González and staff from the Administration for Mental Health and Anti-Addiction Services to discuss disability-inclusive workforce efforts. The meetings discussed collaboration with Secretary Maldonado- González’s Talento Infinito disability employment initiative, addressing worker shortages, enhancing mental health services across the territory and promoting the 988 Suicide and Crisis Line.
