The Case for Inclusion 2023: Making Good on Our Nation’s Promise of Community Inclusion for All

The Case for Inclusion 2023 offers new data assessing how well all 50 states and the District of Columbia are supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to be included in the community.

This year’s edition of the annual report finds that ongoing failures to invest in community-based I/DD services are exacerbating a long-standing workforce crisis, jeopardizing the ability of people with I/DD to access their communities.Download the report and watch the recording of the national launch webinar to learn what the latest data reveal about the state of community services in the US and the policy blueprint needed to strengthen community access and reverse a series of troubling trends.

The Case for Inclusion is presented in partnership between United Cerebral Palsy and the ANCOR Foundation. Designed especially for advocates who believe that people with I/DD should have options and resources to live life without limits, the Case for Inclusion outlines the challenges and opportunities confronting providers working on the frontlines of community inclusion.
