ODP Bulletin 00-22-04 Referring Children to the County IDA Programs

This bulletin offers guidance on the process of referring a child who has, or is suspected to have a diagnosis of an intellectual disability, developmental disability, and/or autism (ID/DD/A). Referring a child to the county ID/A program can provide eligible children and their families with access to information, services, and supports in the community, as well as assistance with preparing for life’s transitions through childhood into adulthood. Please assist with distributing the attached bulletin to all stakeholders.

Please note, a DHS collaborative training on this bulletin will be published later this month and will be communicated with all stakeholders at that time.

If stakeholders have any questions about the bulletin, please email: [email protected]

For more information, please see Bulletin 00-22-04
