Special Thanks to all of our guests; Dan Ding, Ph.D., Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Rehabilitative Science and Technology, and Jeremy Yale from ODP joined us to provide updates and information on I/DD technology initiatives. TPA will be working with Dr. Ding and the Human Engineering Research Laboratories (HERL) at Pitt to learn more about available technologies and participate in their research. This will also involve the ODP Technology Taskforce, co-chaired by Jeremy Yale. We also had a great presentation from Desiree and Dan Hermreck from the National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals who discussed currently available ODP initiatives funded through the American Rescue Plan Act. They shared information about NADSP E-Badge Academy and opportunities for the adoption of this platform by TPA members. Below are the links to the material from the meeting.
